Leo and Sagittarius are four signs apart, a trine, and both are masculine fire signs, which Hellenistic astrologers count as easy contact. Leo is fixed and Sagittarius mutable. The Sun rules Leo and Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so no ruler is shared, and neither has dignity in the other's sign. Both lords belong to the day team under sect, the tradition's sorting of planets into day and night teams. Jupiter is a benefic, a planet the tradition treats as supportive by nature. In Dorotheus' triplicity scheme, which gives each element's three signs their own lords, the Sun rules the fire signs by day and Jupiter by night. Comparing two people's signs with a trine is an extension of a one-chart doctrine.

Reviewer's notes
Aspects/aversion by sign (Ptolemy I.13, I.16), dignities, genders and modalities confirmed; the block already says it applies a one-chart doctrine to two people's signs as an extension, which is this page's choice and not an ancient claim. Dorotheus' triplicity lords confirmed.
